So I finally went and got my hair cut. I have been wanting to do it for a while, but kept holding off because I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted.

For My Hubby!
I married a football fanatic and we are so excited that his team is going to the Superbowl this year! Kory has liked the steelers since he was a kid. They have had good years and bad, but we are excited to see them go to the Superbowl again. He can't wait until February 1st. Go Steelers!

...and put on a happy face!
I don't know what it is about this year, but I am in a winter funk! I am tired of snow, sick kids, being sick myself, cold days, driving on ice to get in my driveway, and on and on! I don't think spring will get here soon enough this year.
On a positive note, this has been a great week even with having the winter blues.
Monday night I got to sub a bunch of dance classes at the studio where I teach. I LOVE dancing. It was such a pick me up to spend 5 hours of my night stretching, dancing, listening to music, and practicing something that I love. I usually only teach once class a week and it is for the 3 and 4 year old's, so not much of a challenge. I am so glad that I got to teach a couple of teenage classes to stretch myself. As a side note - We have our dance recital on February 7th, at 2:00 at Kearns High - The girls have one dance and anyone who wants to come is invited. They just got their costumes are so excited!
Tuesday night Kory and I went to the Temple to do some baptisms. This is the first time I have done baptisms since being endowed. We had some family names that my brother-in-law Al found. It was so awesome! I was glad to do it and it was amazing to see how many youth were there to participate. It was great to spend time with Kory and be at the Temple together.
Last night was my ward enrichment night. I am always so stressed that things are not going to turn out, but I had a great time and I think that the ladies that came had a good time too. Our theme for the night was on the 5 components of health. We had an amazing talk on spiritual health by a new sister in our ward. She gave us all the following quote that I wanted to share - "You are literally a spirit daughter of heavenly parents with a divine nature and an eternal destiny. Your father in Heaven knows your name and knows your circumstances. He hears your prayers. He knows your hopes and dreams, including your fears and frustrations. He knows what you can become through faith in him... Be a women of Christ. Cherish your esteemed place in the sight of God." - Jeffery Holland.
We then did some brain teasers to challenge our minds, had another amazing talk about our self-worth and went through a relaxation exercise to help show us how to let go of the stress we all have. We finished off the night with a fabulous kick boxing routine and some healthy snacks. I had such a great time.
It has been a busy week, and even though I am feeling the winter blues a little bit, it is nice to have so many wonderful opportunities to be lifted. Heavenly Father truly knows us and our circumstances!
