Day 7 -We spent the last full day of our trip enjoying a Turkey dinner at my brother's house. It was so nice to spend time as family. Amy was very organized and we all got to help out and it was so fun.

After a wonderful meal we all went to the movies. The kids went and saw Tangled and the Adults went and saw Harry Potter. It was fun, but after the movie I was wishing I had gone with the kids!
Day 8 - Our last day in California was an easy going day. We woke up late, had breakfast and then played games and hung out until late in the afternoon. At that point we decided to head out in order to get to Las Vegas before it was too late. As we drove the kids fought and fought. We decided that if they were being good and close to sleep by the time we hit Las Vegas that we would just keep on going and drive through the night to get home. Well Las Vegas came and we decided that we would keep going. I am so thankful that we did. A HUGE storm moved in the next day and we only hit the beginning of it as we hit Provo. From Provo home was a scary drive, but it would have been much worse if we had gone to Las Vegas and come home the next day. My mom and Melodee and Matt did stay in Vegas and then came home on Sunday and it took them 12 hours to make a normal 6 hour drive. We enjoyed our trip immensely, but we were all glad to be home!

It's nice to be able to see all the pictures of your trip. I also love your new family picture. We really need to update ours. We sure had a wonderful time with you all out here. Thanks for making time to see us in your busy trip. It was a lot of fun.
You are certainly brave to drive all that way with 4 little ones and especially the baby, though it sounds like he might have been the easiest one! I'm glad you guys had a good time.
You guys were smart to go strait through. I wish we could have been there too. It sounds like a good time.
